The First Computer Upgrade You Should Buy Is A Larger, Better Monitor.
Are you currently trying to figure out what you should spend some extra cash on, in terms of upgrading your computer system? I suggest a larger computer monitor as your first choice, if you don’t have one. A large LCD monitor is the best initial investment that a computer user can make, in my opinion. You need to be able to see everything clearly without straining your eyes. Eye strain is a big problem with computer users.
Take a Break From Staring At Your Screen Every Now And Then.
Even if you already have a bigger monitor, you still need to rest your eyes.
Get up and walk away from the computer every now and then when you have stretches that you need to be sitting in front of your machine for work or play. It happens every now and then, that you need to spend more time in front of your computer to complete a task for work or personal reasons.
You shouldn’t strain yourself during these instances, however. But, now I am digressing. Back to the topic.
Bigger is Better. Go with a 22″ Wide-screen LCD Monitor.
If your computer system is relevant with the current times in the graphics department (good video card and wide-screen support, which is common), then you will be able to use a 22″ wide-screen LCD monitor with your computer.
This is a significant upgrade over the crappy 17″ CRT monitor that you might be using.

1 of 2 significant upgrades for your computer system.
The upgrade to a better monitor is one of two things that I suggest as signification upgrades to your computer system. I also suggest that you get a good chair. A chair is #2 behind having a great monitor for your system.
You might already have a large monitor
If you already have a nice monitor:
Nice monitor qualifiers
- 22″ wide-screen lcd monitor
- 19″ wide-screen lcd monitor
- 19″ standard lcd monitor
- 20″ standard lcd monitor
- etc.
Not-nice monitor qualifiers
- 15″ CRT (with faded white/tan plastic casing)
- 17″ CRT monitor (with before-mentioned faded white/tan plastic casing)
- etc.
… then you can pretty much discard this whole article. Thanks for reading. Continue on if you have not upgraded your monitor yet.
Upgrade Your Monitor
To a large, brighter, wider, easier to view lcd screen as soon as you are able. Then get a better chair.
