Image*After is a great place to find images and textures for use in graphics projects. The site organized by images and textures, allowing you to easily find elements for your projects. The images and textures are free, and the license is very reasonable.
It’s easy to navigate through the site to find what your looking for. There’s a ton of good photos, or at least there would be if digital images had physical weight.
Check out the random image search feature to get an idea of the overall range of imagery available.

If you don’t already have enough people hassling you to do stuff all the time, get hassled by a web site. It’s an entity that exists to remind you of stuff at somewhat random periods. Not a schedule, just more like friendly reminders to do things you always forget to do or always need to do.
Now, about this web site that likes to hassle people about stuff.
It strikes me as funny that there is a site that just gets to remind people of stuff in a random way. This thing just exists to hassle you about stuff you have to do, and you may grow to hate this incarnation of the internet after a while. But you’ll get stuff done if you pay attention to it.
I took the lame route and signed up to get hassled about cleaning my fish tanks. I couldn’t come up with anything more creative than that at the moment. Maybe I’ll set up a hassle to go to bed roughly every day or so.

Produced by Paul Neave of Neave.com, a wonderful Flash planeterium. Along with all kinds of other fun stuff if you dig deeper into the other branches of the site.
Kill some time and see if you can recognize any constellations or learn new ones. Roll over a star and see it’s name, see the constellation that the star is a part of. Good stuff. Nice 3d effect. Betelgeuse jumped out at me.
Living under city lights, I don’t get to see much of the starry night sky. But I see it enough to remember the constellations I want to remember. Go Orion!

Find out here.
Some of the accomplishments may humble you. Some of the accomplishments may make your life seem all that much better. Either way, worth a look.
I’m 28, here’s some of what I saw:
Jamaican reggae composer/performer Bob Marley recorded “I Shot the Sheriff.”
Nuclear plant lab tech Karen Silkwood died in a car crash on her way to meet with a New York Times reporter and a union official to document her allegations about falsified quality control reports.
French naturalist Jean B. Lamarck coined the word biology to encompass the studies of botany and zoology.
Radio DJ Brent McCoy killed a mouse, seemingly by staring at it, in his living room.
I think I’m more on par with the Radio DJ than anyone else on the list. Bob Marley recorded I Shot the Sheriff. I’ve recorded a few basement jam sessions while being 28. Not quite the same, world-recognition-wise, but we both probably had about the same amount of fun recording what we recorded.

This is brilliant. An interface designed with the intent of not having to click anything. It works great in my opinion. I liked the idea of navigating the entire site without one mouse click. And for the most part it all made perfect sense.
This is definitely not something that will replace all clickable interfaces withing coming times. But, it is a refreshing look at navigation.
As far as web design goes this is great.
